Hi, I was just looking over your question. I just started (restarted really, I left off in 2008) the auto repair program so I'm not even where you are but.... 2.2 kilo ohms should be 2,200 ohms (2.2x1000). As far as the other question, it doesn't seem clear, "kohm+1,000 ohm=" this doesn't make any sense to me because it's not quantifying the number of ohms, just saying kilo ohm but not how many so the question is null and void unless you're quoting it wrong. Could be a glitch in the course materials, there were a few when I did the course back in 2008. So I don't think you're wrong. I would hope to think my time in electronics engineering school wasn't for nothing LOL

Elsevier is totally great! They are a super user friendly app, even better than Amazon Kindle reading apps for your phone! You can put the Anatomy and Physiology textbook or the biology textbook on your account through them. You can listen to the material where ever you are as long as you have the book downloaded. I honestly cannot state how life changing this app is. You can also print the books through here as well. I managed to save the pages as PDF's, and print them in a mini-book form to save trees (yay!). This app will also let you highlight, note, and bookmark pages. It's really amazing! I highly recommend it.

Hello everyone! I am so beyond excited to be back with Penn Foster finally! And when I say finally, I mean I had started with Penn Foster about 2 years ago and I started off really well with it. I absolutely loved the schooling, I got accepted into the Student Ambassador program, and I was doing so well with all of my grades/projects. I then started to struggle with personal issues and I had accepted a full time job but it was not in the animal field The job I had gotten paid really really well but it was definitely not what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I struggled with happiness and ended up just giving up on my Penn Foster and set it off to the side and kept telling myself "I'll jump back into it soon." I was stuck in a hole. I was not happy with my job, but I didn't want to leave because of the pay and benefits. Finally after about 2 years my boyfriend and I made the spontaneous decision to pack everything up and start all over again in North Carolina. And here we are now 6 months later living happily in North Carolina and I'm working in an Animal Clinic as a Vet Tech!!! I am soooo happy now. Getting into an animal clinic has given me my spark and motivation to jump right back into Penn Foster again and really push myself to earn the degree that makes me the happiest and the one I deserve most. I am beyond thrilled with the amount of support and motivation I have been receiving from people. So I am here to tell YOU, whether you are a new student or a student who has been enrolled for a while but is struggling, It is OKAY to take that break that you need. It is OKAY to fail. It is OKAY to step back and have second thoughts about things. But it's only OKAY if you promise to come back 10 times harder and PUSH yourself and try your absolute HARDEST to reach your goals and push for your dreams. DO NOT give up on yourself. DO NOT tell yourself it's not possible because guess what? IT IS. And I am that person to be here and tell YOU that! I was that person who gave up, but here I am 2 years later, working at a job that I love, and continuing my education to earn a degree that I deserve. You deserve the world, you just have to work hard for it.

Please, if you need a friend to talk to, or have any questions or any doubts about anything, PLEASE feel free to reach out to me. I'm always here to listen and help and give advice as much as I possibly can. I want to be the positive vibe that people need to motivate themselves to continue. I want to be there for YOU. Whether it's personal, school or work related, I am always here to talk and help with anything.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. I appreciate you, and I hope this post will help motivate you to do the very best that you can. I would love to make new friends, I would love to help motivate and I would love to get just as much support and motivation right back. Good luck to everyone in your studies, I wish you nothing but the best and I hope you all crush your goals!!  And always remember, if you ever need help or have questions, reach out to someone. Me, an instructor, a Student Ambassador, the Penn Foster community....we are ALL here to help YOU achieve your dreams!!
